I'm sorry to say I caused it I planted a phone on my millwall supporting mate and rang him ring tone was "marching on together"
Have to agree with you SW..................they are scum, and I have to point out that they were in the 'expensive' seats.........so these were the guys who had first dibs at the tickets.........season ticket holders and their mates...........so should be easy to trace. Have been supporting the wall for nearly fifty years now, and these ****ing morons still taint us all...........but why oh why does it take nearly thirty minutes of fighting before the old bill wade in....and then only a couple of them.............?????????
Eio I think you will find that the expensive seats were full of none season ticket holders they were the only tickets left to go on general sale as normal wall fans won't pay 100 quid a ticket this is the work of scum that won't be at Millwall for years to come
Well I'm sure everything has been said now and no doubt we will get the blame even though there are a number of factors that led up to the trouble. But I was really disappointed because we were having a good spell in the match at the time and suddenly fans all around were clambering to watch the trouble when we could have done with them getting behind the team.
We didn't know there had been any trouble until after the match. During that second half I thought Wigan started to look rattled and that was mainly down to the noise from the Millwall fans. I was impressed with how they tried to bring their team back into the game. If they had scored in that second half period it would have been a very different outcome.
I think you may be slightly ****ed with this one gents. In a normal game, a bit of fisticuffs would get you a slap on the wrist, but the semi-final of the FA's flagship cup competition, being televised in a hundred countries, I think they'll throw the book at you.
Maybe the trouble was more obvious where I was, which was at the front of the top tier almost directly above it, but if you say you weren't aware then maybe it shows how minor it was. I agree - we started having a good spell which got the fans going, which in turn lifted the team, but then quite a lot of fans where I was were trying to get a better view of the "trouble" and took their eyes off the game. I also agree if we had scored if would have been interesting but then scoring has been our problem for a while.
Only because its Millwall though, any of the Sky four and it would only be a "minor scuffle" occurred.
You don't get it do you fool,31,000 well behaved fans don't need to say sorry for 15 or so idiots.Work out the percentages.11 Arrested so over and done with get over it.
Heyup gob ****e, lets see what happens when Bardiff meet up with you gutless Swansea Jacks next season, obviously one brainless taff
All clubs have idiots and the Met are ****e at handling football matches and ALWAYS make things worse. This game should have been played at Villa Park not Wembley which should only stage the final. West Midlands police would have handled things better and have kept it far lower profile
