At least the iceman will be playing premier league football next season....
Scored Cardiff's opener today in their 3-0 win over forest...
What was that you were saying Hughes about premier league players?
    ****ing tool...

    ........

    (And he scored again today.)

We all knew it, it appears Hughes was the only one who didn't. Why give Ephraim a squad place when he had absolutely no intention of playing him ( and having an already abundant array of midfielders? ) He then let our Iceman go leaving us with three strikers, two of whom were confirmed serial sicknotes?

This is just another great blunder in a very long line of nonsensical decisions by The Tafia.

We all know that Hughes should have never sold Heider I doubt if he would have missed 3 pens

Heidar did great for us, But don't forget he missed a lot of games last season with injury, and is getting on a bit, and would only be back up in a mid table PL team with 3 other PL standard strikers. I don't think Hughes made a big mistake selling him, his mistake was not replacing him properly.

He was indeed, as a tough front man and penalty taker. Hope Bardiff don't do him the disservice to put him out to pasture as we did - if they do, we should snap him up as I'm sure he has another season in him. In a tough league, he seems to have stayed mostly injury free and has played a lot of mins in games.

If Hughes had had the foresight to keep HH I am confident we would be staying up he would still be in a job. A decent target man and instinctive striker were the pieces missing from Hughes' master plan. Amazing that he couldn't see one of the best at both those things right under his nose.
