I think it was down to Tango and Cash, giving the present regime 4 days to sort out the club from which we have never recovered. Poor squad going into the prem and now a poor overpaid non interested squad full of has beens and fraudsters.
When I look back I wonder whether Spurs away was a 'defining moment'. The Rs were leading 1-0, playing some decent stuff, before it all went Pete Tong inside a few minutes. Certainly under Hughes they never looked like winning a game again. So many ifs and buts: - Taarabt's penalty miss v Norwich - Wigan's last-minute equaliser last week - Agbonlahor's equaliser in the dying minutes of the first half at Villa - Holding the Arse for so long at the Urinates - Two league defeat against the Baggies and yet a cup with at the Hawthorns - Leading at the Hammers on Remy's debut I'm sure others can add to this list with ease.
Good list Uber, and yes Spurs away is a good shout. Maybe Remy's hamstring could be added to your list?
I suppose losing the first match at home to Swansea 5-0 should have set the alarm bells ringing on Mr Hughes
Our season went wrong the day we signed Hughes. In my opinion he is ENTIRELY to blame . Some of you may think I hate the man, well you'd be wrong, it goes much deeper than that. I hope he never gets a job in football again.
