Just a quick message to inform you all that I am stepping down as a Mod on the QPR forum due to increasing work and outside commitment. I am delighted to inform you all, that 999s, has accepted our invitation to become a Mod and he will replace me with immediate effect. I have an incredibly busy summer period ahead and feel that I would not be in a position to do justice to this position. I have really enjoyed my time here as a Mod and have been privileged to meet several of you last year. I know that some of you may have disagreed with decisions that I have made over the last 18 odd months but I can assure you that both myself and Brix, always made decisions in the interest of the board as a whole. I would publically like to thank Brix, firstly for offering me the position of Mod on our wonderful board and secondly, for been so easy to work with. As we say here in Ireland, Brix is a mighty bit of stuff and highlights everything that is good about this board. He has set the tone of light moderation on this board and never gets involved in anything he doesn’t have to. IMHO, we are very lucky to have him. 999s is a much respected member on this forum and his calm and sensible comments indicate a person that will bring a firm but friendly approach to Modding. I think he and Brix will make a strong team and continue to work with our members rather than against them. If anything it will continue to keep our board fresh. I have no intention of disappearing into the shadows and I’m not writing this as my obituary. I hope to continue posting and arguing with the best of ye. This site is addictive for all us QPR fans. Thanks for all your support and I hope to meet you at HQ in the coming months and years. NUTS

NUTS So weâre losing another quality mod... Got the news a couple of days ago. Devastated as youâd imagine. NUTS has been a brilliant running mate for me: always there with firm but fair interventions when things start going awry on here. In the background, always there with solid suggestions for ways to manage the unmanageable. Such gusto, such verve. Sight to behold when heâs on form - which is pretty much most of the time tbh. And talk about a readiness to go that extra mile to help out. Personally, Iâll never forget NUTSOâs offer to go all the way to Dublin to meet Swords for a quiet drink and conciliatory chat - when yer man was giving and getting stick between bans! Yes, I know heâll be with us for years to come as a poster. Heâs not just got Rangers in his blood but in his DNA too. From what NUTSOâs told me, the number of diehard Rs in his family is way over 10 and probably more like 20, if memory serves. When I saw his user name for the first time, I thought it was just a figure of speech in capitals for emphasis. Knowing him as I do now, I realise itâs nothing of the sort. Itâs more of a warning sign linking an addiction, a mental condition and a matter of principle: denigrate Rangers at your peril - and Iâll reason you to death for your sins! No, Iâll miss him as mod to be sure, to be sure - but like Goldie before him, Iâll be keeping him on my panel of experts to be consulted in times of trouble on here. Thanks NUTSO for your sterling efforts on our behalf old son. Much appreciated and never to be forgotten mate, I assure you. Ninesy One of NUTSâ two choices as successor, neither of whom I can possibly disagree with. Who among us would argue with our favourite fireman as mod on here? In my recommendation to our SuperMod I described him thus: âa quality poster on our board, moderate to a fault and universally popular. Be a great addition to the site's mod team imho.â I'm sure you all agree. Fortunately for us all, both Nines and the top mod accepted. Now all I ask is that we give Ninesy time to work out how to be bossy⦠donât think itâs in his nature, so itâll be interesting to see how he compensates over time. He will though, cos Iâve witnessed him telling people how it is / should be on occasion before. For the time being, welcome aboard Ninesy mate - and thanks so much for agreeing to help fill the rather large gap!
Well done and cheers to you Nuts, congrats and good luck nines. Got to say, a natural replacement, in fact, a number of times, I can recall people mistaking you as a mod already. It was meant to be.
For the amount of posts on this board I feel 3 mods would be perfect so one is available when needed Beth would be a great choice as a mod to replace nuts when he steps down
I agree completely Andy that Beth would be a brilliant mod, however I'm still pushing for Stan to be one.
