Guys, the idiot has admitted it wasn't watching this match - it made a mistake and watched a different one. It's also admitted Arsenal aren't his local team, so it's clearly just joking. Ignore it and it will leave.
i think the trouble is in the championship theres much more parity of talent and squad ability. It's a cliche but often, anyone can beat anyone. If thats the case, every game is there for the taking, and people can play more expansive football, confident that they won't be automatically outclassed by the opposition. In the premier league it isn't like that. Teams with less money and recognised talent can 'go for it' again the big teams and get a result, but odds are they'll get a hiding. Its just not a viable long term strategy to require your guys to give 110% every game in the hope of matching a more talented (but hopefully off form) player's 80% effort. The only two options seem to be try to control the game (or suffocate it) and gabble not on raising your game but on lowering theirs. The other approach is to gamble with money, buying players who are hopefully good enough to go toe to toe with the big guns of the league. One way risks losing fans due to dull uninspiring football. The other risks financial ruin. Welcome to the premier league!
That would be terrible wouldn't it, mind you, it was terrible refereeing decisions that got them there in the first place..
Hampy, you talk utter bollocks, not unusual considering the team you follow! Isn't it about time for you to send round Guru's little lap-dog? After all, it's 16 games without a win now!
please log in to view this image Zlatan has inspired me. I now support Man U. I've never been to Manchester and i don't really know anything about the city, the people, or the football team. And yet for some reason i find myself drawn to supporting them. Weird. And oh look! My team is now above Zlatans! What a bit of luck.
Little clubs are only allowed to make up the numbers not to win obviously the lino has just upgraded his holiday
Not being funny dave, but the persercution of myself is hardly a good example to be setting to the rest of board. Am i right in thinking that the rules that have been set on this board should be adhered to by everybody, including moderators?
So, this is a picture of the penalty decision. How can a linesman, standing 50 yards away give this one way or the other? Kamara has hold of Giroud, but Giroud has hold of Kamara. Apparently the linesman decided that with five minutes left and playing at the Emirates, two wrongs don't make a right, they make an Arsenal penalty https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BHvyVgjCcAETWcx.jpg:large
