We spent more on transfers and wages in the last two seasons than in our history and we are one of the worst teams ever to have graced the premiership. Players should be ashamed and I am not really bothered who leaves in the summer.
I like Hill and derry as personalities but they arent good enough to play for us any more. I never like johnson as a person and hes a total sicknote, its no good having a player whos injured 90% of the time no matter how good they are.
listening on radio we're not even trying to win it, you've thought we are safe the way we are playing, going down on a whimper so disappointing. hang on we've had a shot onuhua a full back! sums it up, be fcuking glad when this season is over.
Keep Taarabt, Mbia, try to blackmail Remy into staying, Samba, Yun, Mackie, Jenas. Get rid of the players i stated earlier and everyone else can leave if we get a good enough offer.
You'll not get much disagreement from me, Flyer. I'd probably keep Green for Tier 2, but happily swap him out for a young goalie with the promise that Hart showed and has subsequently realised. I would love to uncover another Clive Allen type, but fear the game has move on so much that many of these are signed to the big clubs whilst still in the ball sac, so would only get them on loan.
Were obviously not going to keep both goalies but Im sure one will leave. So we keep the other and hopefully get a reserve goalie on small wages and a 3rd goalie whos u21, Im not sure who but a Butland type.
Well, we know that already so we're having a conversation about something. Or only topics you approve allowed to progress?
The league table does not lie, Dave. I respect your optimism, which has been a constant all season, but I'm sure that in reality you know relegation is as inevitable as the tide coming in.
One of the most annoying things is that, with exception of perhaps the two Swansea games and Liverpool home, the Rs have not really been thrashed by any side this season. They've rarely controlled any games, often pressed the self-destruct button before offering hope with later rallies, but rarely been convincingly whomped. So, I agree. This is an underperforming squad that has been as disappointing as my first marriage.
By all accounts Johnson is a decent guy, I'm sure some of the members of this board have met him and said as much but def cant argue with the sicknote bit, shame as he looked sharp just before his injury.
