The Gibson strike is hardly a case for the DGP. Straight-forward: strike on target = goal for striker.

Won't please any of us,lads and Beth, but might confirm what we all fear is now inevitable. Let's maintain some dignity and not bicker with each other.

That is 100% correct. You can't, keepers makes mistakes etc. Meaning if it's on target (posts not incuded) it's given to the shot taker. This one is certain to be Gibson's. If you can't come up with other examples Flyer then I'm afraid your evidence is void.

Anyway, couldn't care less. We are loosing and going down. Not in the mood to argue.

Dubious Goals Panel say Everton strike was a Leighton Baines own goal

THE PREMIER League's Dubious Goals Panel have ruled that Junior Hoilett’s early strike against Everton at Loftus Road in October was in fact a Leighton Baines own goal.

Hoilett put Rangers in front after just two minutes, breaking from his own half before seeing a deflected shot leave Toffees ‘keeper Tim Howard with no chance.

And now the Dubious Goals Panel have concluded that the deflection off Baines was crucial in the ball finding the net.

--

Are you telling me the deflection wasnt crucial in the ball going into the net?

I know, the set pieces have been shocking for the last two years, weve got Samba now and we cant even find him with a set piece.

We need a proper set piece taker for next season.

We need to bring Samba on and take off the imposter that's playing in his position.

Im already looking forward to the clear out and seeing who we will get in, the summer is going to be busy but I will do my nut if we get a load more 30+ year olds in.
Just think, Spurs plaid less for Walker than we paid for Cisse, SWP or Zamora.

Villa are winning, Reading currently drawing.

I cannot wait for this god-awful nightmare two seasons to be over and for the Rs to take their rightful place in the Championship. Personally, I'd take a couple of seasons of being a top-half Tier 2 team (if we can manage that!) before revisiting this division. It's not been an enjoyable experience.

It might be a good thing, we might keep some of the bad players if their form picked up.

I want to say goodbye to Hill, Bosingwa, Johnson, Zamora, Barton, Cisse, SWP, Granero, Bothroyd and Derry.

Me too, almost game, set & match for us exiting the Premier League - just looking forward to us scoring more goals and winning a few games in the Championship next season.

Almost like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders - no longer stressed out - looking forward to watching Ryan Nelsen's TFC + Hogan Ephraim + Robert Earnshaw take on Philadelphia later today. Also curious how Danny ****tu & Rob Hulse make out for Millwall in the FA Cup semi-final game against Wigan at Wembley today.

Ill be happy if we sign players like Townsend and not has beens on massive wages. We only seem to think 6 months ahead, we should be planning 5 years ahead.

I never really felt like we had a chance to say hello to Johnson. He's been the Dyer of this season.

To be honest with you, I wouldn't shed any tears losing any of them. Sure, it would great to keep somebody like Remy, but Samba has been a huge disappointment for me, nowhere near Nelsen in terms of his reading of the game and positioning. I think it's no coincidence that we've shipped goals since he left, but had that great run at the start of the year with him organising things.
