    2011 season champions reading lost to 4th place birmingham away
    2010 season champions qpr lost at home to 7th place leeds
    2009 newcastle squeaked a win on last day at 13th place QPR but they were arguably far too good for anyone
    2008 wolves won 1-0 to 14th place donny
    2007 west brom won, but they needed the win to secure 1st place from stoke.
    2006 sunderland won 5-0 to already relegated Luton


    There's no pattern but champions don't seem to do that well on the last day against teams close to them. They only seem to win if the other team has nothing to play for or relegated

    I wouldn't put any money on us beating Forest. Guaranteed we go defensive now and Forest attack. Watford are losing though. This could be the end of it being competitive for who goes up.
