Big achievement for an acquaintance of mine today (don't know her so well but am good friends with her parents, worked with her dad for many years). Guernsey girl who has just become the first british woman to get through to the second round of the French Open for 17 years. Just felt the need to share that coz I'm really proud of her!

Haha ... funny you should say that. I think she once watched me embarrass myself for half an hour in a work Social Club Introduction to Tennis day and then I think she decided to do the opposite of everthing I did. Probably the only way I could have taught her anything about tennis ...!
