That's a good starting 11. My only concern is Howson is playing and Wes not even on the subs. I'm not really feeling confident with this game, hoping other results go our way.
Looks like it could be 4-3-3 with Howson just ahead of Tettey and Johnson, and Kamara and Snoddy on the wings. Thank God, Hughton's finally going for it.

Really excited by that team, plays to the strengths of pretty much every player in the team, will let Howson attack, gives key someone to play off and give holt the support he has so clearly needed. Only criticism is I think we could be quite central, although maybe thats why whits is playing he and russ can play as wing back when needed.
Bonkers selection given what Hughton has normally been picking! I think it looks great, although I feel for Bennett as he had such a good game last week. I suppose Bennett's pace isn't going to be that strong against Arsenal. Also, no Hoolahan? After that interview?
Pretty sure this is nearly bang on the team sheet myself and Rob have discussed recently. Really excited to finally see Kamara on the left, and Howson given his desired role. It does seem harsh on Bennett to drop him, and I'm surprised not to see Wessi on the bench. Does the mean Fox might finally get some game time? He's our only CM on the bench! It looks like we can pose a real threat from crosses though, if Snodgrass puts a decent ball in we should have Kamara, Holt and Howson all challenging in the middle, which looks promising. I really want to see Howson doing a box-to-box role, helping defensively and also getting fully involved in attacks. Really like this line-up!

Lets give him a chance, we've criticised justifiably but he has changed it when today could have been the game he says "I won't get anything from this". Kamara appears to be out right side and a midfield three which might pose a problem to Arsenal's four if they don't panic.
Midfield just need to take a few more passes, we are trying to play the one twos off the front men too early. We need to do that further up the pitch when Kamara would have a chance of drifting in.
Arsenal perhaps starting to turn the screw a little. Neither team have created much danger until now. I'm worried I was wrong about Howson playing a more advanced role, we appear to have 3 DM's!
My stream just cut to Cardiff-Forest in Spanish, as Cardiff scored, absolutely terrifying hearing a Spaniard scream in my ears out of the blue. I really don't like the way this game is going for us. It's definitely 3DM's, and we have no idea what to do with the ball going forward.
