HTL Shola to score a blinder and Sissoko to run the midfield, just need to hope our patchwork defence and krul can put in a good shift today.

 

Hope it isn't today, I'm planning on going tomorrow.

Excitement,/tension is building. Please let us stick it to them again. I know its greedy and they are probably overdue some derby joy, but they're mackems.

 

And we're Tak'ems, so that's what we'll do.

 

I see Sissoko has said he knows what it is going to be like. Think the reality of the atmosphere will be a (positive) surprise for all of our new guys. They all seem to respond well to the noise and fervor of the fans so hopefully they are spurred on and tired legs are energized. Really looking forward to tomorrow.

 

I think they've had a bit of an idea from our last 50k plus gates what the atmosphere could be like, plus the old hands will have informed them how big this game is to us fans.

Ellis Short has risked turning tomorrow’s North-east derby into a grudge match after he was overheard telling Newcastle boss Alan Pardew to “f*** off”.
