Like the way he speaks and his winners attitude.. also his playing style is no-nonesense hard & honest & he'd make a good leader on the pitch and off it... agree?
I don't think it matters whose captain really, but I think Chester will be captain today since its usually him who gets the armband when Hobbs and Koren aren't playing.
Cairney - fights back all the time, drives forward, always encouraging the team, great tackler, two footed - what more could you want? .........................
Meyler, although Faye is superb and would be a great choice Meyler has age on his side so can grow into the role, I think, long term, he could be our Ash replacement
They both would but this point swings it for me. I thought about Chester too, love the guy but I'd always want a midfield general in the role. Koren doesn't have the personality, he's too stand-offish and a touch shy (or so he appears to fans). I just couldn't imagine him ripping pieces out of the players at half-time.
No good Faye having it, nobody can understand a ****ing thing he says. Lets just be happy he's brilliant in defence. Meyler for me.
Meylers the future, respect to Faye though. Meyler/Brady- the signings that have taken us up I reckon!
He's as thick as custard and as inspiring as a blanket. Don't get me wrong, he's a decent larker but captain? Not a prayer
Completely agree, Meyler is our most important player at the moment, links the defense and attack perfectly and keeps the opposition under pressure. Brady is our most gifted player excluding Aluko and probably our most promising player in terms of development. People who criticised Bruce for spending 5 mil on these two should look at where we are and the money that they have almost definately brought to us.
