I can see that we are favourites to win on form and home advantage, but not that we are a foregone conclusion. Remember QPR....I think I should make that my by-line. On Sky, a bookie laughed at a Sky presenter for making us only a 1.1 draw...have you seen Southampton, he said. Whoa up, I thought.....this is too much pressure. WHU are only below us....this isn't ManU playing Reading. As an analyst said on another thread, our style forced Liverpool and others to play long ball, but that is what WHU can do. Still going for a win, but not sure I like being massive favourites...it's unnatural.

 

West ham don't score many away from home (famous last words!) and I can't see us not scoring. Let's hope the forecast rain doesn't spoil the game!

I am going for a 3-1 saints win, I have correctly predicted the last 3 saints results, hopefully I can continue this today

 

ITK man says Shaw is the main doubt and it is either Fox or Forren at LB, we will see if his recent prediction record is going to be maintained. He has Ramirez in for S Davis, not sure I like that idea against a team like the Hammers, in MoPo we trust.

 

Its amazing but I think it is Shaw we would miss the most. I guess its because we have some options elsewhere on the pitch but at left back we are severely limited. But even so, to be such a critical member of the team at his age is incredible.

It's my own epithet for him, not asking anyone else to use it, I call Skates the Blue Phew sometimes, anything for a bit of variety and there is no law against it, however bad it is!
