I believe That Nuggent picked the ball up 10 yards inside the Birmingham half, went on a 40 yard run taking on 4 players, got inside the box - foul - penalty
I haven't seen the game so I can't, and to be honest I only see our "rivalry" lasting another 4 games for you the way things are going. What's this about Nugent's foul for the penalty not even being in the area though? (according to a few posts on our board)
Are you that confident of going up this season then? It was exactly that, the ball came to him in our half, he was running back to our goal, had a gammy touch, Brum player nicked it and there was a coming together just outside of the area. It was close, don't really blame the referee, but it's just one of them things when things aren't going your way...
Had Leicester in my £20 weekend bet along with Liverpool , Northampton , and Hull City.. Also have Hull City and Leicester City to both get promotion.. Keep Fighting....
I'm more confident that the way things are going NP won't be your manager next season, and that'll do a lot to end the "rivalry" from our side. Obviously if we stay down with you there'll be a competitive rivalry, but we'll see it as no more than the one with Brighton, Palace, Watford, or whoever else is involved. (see, I even avoided saying you were the same as Forest) Leeds have had at least 2 penalties for fouls at least a yard outside the box this season.
I think Ricardo meant the rivalry would be over because Pearson will be sacked, not that we'll be in different divisions. Not after a rise but have any of you still got the slightest bit of faith in Pearson? He's clearly out of his depth, massively so.
Don't think you can blame Pearson for tonights result to be fair, poor finishing, Nugents poor decision to run at his own goal rather than smash the ball into the stands in the 90th minute and a pen decision that should'nt have been giving are to blame.
I think you can. And I do. Not that I'm that arsed. I just feel sorry for Steve Walsh, great at his job and finds some real talent for Pearson to completely waste it. Barnsley are about Pearsons level.
dyer was good. we were good today. i have never ever felt so flat in all my life. still... i believe.
I'd have kept an eye on it if I'd realised. Call me a sad old bastard but I'm addicted to the golf. I've got a few bets on , just hope Woods doesn't win it and that's not being racist.
