Just had a Tesco Thai green curry and rice from the express down the road and it was really nice too.

But of fruit to go with it and an innocent juice.

I've had a pack of mccoys and a wispa.

I blame thatcher, my company should be made to provide me with lunch.

I've stupidly got involved on the scouser thatcher thread. Dave is now giving a lecture on economics and socialism.

Beef stew for me, with a Vimto chaser and some mini chocolate eggs left over from Easter.

I saw you sticking your neck in there <laugh>

I do love dave's post tho':

"In a Socialist state there is a Mixed Economy in which the State ameliorates the ravages of raw Capitalism upon the peoples of the state. The state dedicates itself to ensuring that the econmy produces the means to house, feed, educate and keep healthy all of the peoples of the state. In so doing it attempts to ensure that all of the peoples of the state have equal access to the opportunities offered without limitation eg cost."

Pretty much what Thatcher gave us them, removing inefficient state dominance of competition based industries, raising the proportion of taxes as a share of GDP, saving the NHS from Labour's cash limits, giving everyone access to houses, and promoting grammar schools which provide the brightest with educational opportunities without cost. Dare you to try and make that point and see what he says <laugh>

And it's not just Dave by the look of it.

It just continues to rumble, I'm not even going to pretend to get involved. I'm neither a socialist or a capitalist but I reserve the right to better myself to the best of my abilities so I can live in my house which I own and provide for my children without really having to worry too much if the thick lazy **** across town can afford his packet of lambert and butler.

Sorry, that's my reality and no ****ing whining scouser will ever 'educate' me into thinking any differently.

I'm round at my reporter mate's new house tonight for a meal. He's a ****ing superb cook. It's a beef-based dish, but he won't tell me what. He's baked his own baguettes, not in a machine and for afters, he's made some sort of lime and lemon cheesecakey type thing. Eight tins of Carling, numerous spliffs/vapourisers and the inside track from the press conference this week <ok>

Unfortunately looking at a thread like that is like panning for gold. It's just not worth spending ages sifting through all the ****e to try and unearth the nuggets.

You'll have to take me round the next time I'm in the area <ok>

I can't guarantee a meal Swarbs. I haven't been round since before Crimbo, as he's been getting the new place straight. If it's a weekend, it depends which match he's covering on which day, but I could try and get him out for a beer. Top bloke, apart from his obvious serious affliction. A bit like you really <laugh>

Thinking lamb roast today. . Crunchy roast potatoes cooked in duck fat. Honey roast parsnips. Spring greens.

Think I may have a go at making creme brûlée . .

But before all that I'm going to have some eggs bacon, sausage and potato waffles

An ideal solution as I am ****ing hungover today.

Yeah I'm not to chipper today. .

    Didn't eat at all yesterday, then played golf at 3pm in torrential rain. Then went to the pub sank 7 pints don't remember getting in just woke up at 7:30 with a banging head ache and still the aftermath of man flu. Joy. On the plus side I've given myself the day off tomoro and am off to play golf here ;

Hmmmm, looks the type of course I loathe, let me know how it goes.

Had rib of beef down the pub yesterday evening and a couple of fine ales to go with it. Carmathernshire brewery, can't remember the name of the ale itself.

It was down our local, which is that Chef and Brewer on the Mumbles road and it is in big contrast to that one we ended up in the other week, in that the food, service and ale/wine are all rather good to be fair.

It's meant to be good.. Think it's quite hilly though. The course I've been playing doesn't do the super deal on weekdays til 4:30. So thought we'd try somewhere else.

I just had my tuna butties for breakfast which means I will have my pasta bolognese for dinner instead of tea so don't know what I will have for tea!

    Tee off at 3.

Downloaded an app called ubersense it's a golf swing analysis.. See if the tweaks to my swing are right. Felt better on Saturday. Though still topped a few. The app gives you drills to do which seem helpful.

Going to book my lessons this week.
