I've suggested the most talented player we ever had, was injured by the least talented player we ever had. I'll let you know if he responds.
I sent him two tweets, one about Walton, then one about what he's doing now. He ignored the one about Walton and just answered the second, saying he's working with kids in Nigeria to develop youth football. He's such a nice bloke, I don't think I should push it on the Walton one.
Walton's only claim to fame in football is that he injured one of the best African footballers of all time & got a stack of red cards..
He put he "loved it there..would love to of gone back" About us obviously, such a shame about injuries.
When he played for us, nobody else on the pitch wanted the ball as he just showed everyone up with his skills. Our other players treated the ball like a hot potato and just wanted to give it to Jay Jay as quickly as possible. Never seen anyone else get that much respect from his fellow professionals.
Jay Jay @ Wolverhampton in our promotion season. When he was subbed the whole ground rose as one. Glad to have seen him many times in his prime.
Obviously doesn't hold any grudges as Walton was the 17th person he started following, just after Ash.
We were spoilt around that time, jay jay and then Geovanni, probably the two most skillful players the clubs ever had. Jay Jay at West Brom was unbelievable in the promotion year.
