    Yes and you might wonder why I have posted it in this Sky thread but I'm pretty sure the reason for glibly abandoning her position as elected representative for Corby and jetting off to be near her husband (who has an incredibly important job without which western democracy might be at risk) is because her due reward for splitting the Culture Committee on the phone hacking report (if not deflecting its attention during hearings and using it to boost her own tawdry profile) is to be bestowed upon her there by the Dark Lord of Mordoch.

    She did seem more worried for Murdoch's welfare when he got that cream all over his face when compared with everybody else who didn't give a ****.

    Sky's great - official. Its now ex-CEO is a complete dickhead but, by Ofcom's standards, there's nowt wrong with his company. <ok>

    Not now he's gone, anyway...

    EDIT: According to The Register, an Ofcom spokesman refused to comment on what the outcome of their investigation might've been if James Murdoch was still CEO.

    I can see no problem with an independent regulator to conduct the same kind of investigations into newspaper companies and proprietors.

    Im pretty sure the difference is bigger than last years average. Also I feel the start to F1 this year has been a bit low Key for SKY. Anybody else get that feeling

    The problem with sky is that no one will pay before they have a interest in the sport, so the longer it goes on the less new fans there will be.

    Its not the sort of sport many people get interested in through "playing" it.

    For HD quality realtime bufferless stream, try:

    www.kingmedia.tv

    I've been using these guys not just for F1 but all sports and they are top quality.

    depends if the link above is legit or not....

    Has anybody seen that Now.tv are selling day passes to sky sports channels including the F1 channel?
    Its about £10 which still seems a bit steep.

    £190 a year to see just the races, £380 if you want to see the qualifying to... Who would do that?

    iPads are similarly priced and just as pointless and they sell thousands.

    BBC average for Spanish GP: 3.285m viewers
    SKY average for Spanish GP: 0.383m viewers (10.4% share)

    Peak viewers, 2012/2013
    BBC = 4.60m/4.13m
    Sky = 1.053m/0.703m --- 18.6% / 14.5%

    Both general viewer numbers and Sky's share falling, how far do they fall before something happens?

    Good to see Sky's figures dwindling. I wonder how far it would have to fall for them to sell the rights back to BBC.
