Danny thomas missed a penalty and the whl crowd cheered his name immidiately...I know its frustrating to yet again lose on penalties but after todays team performance critisising two penalty misses is harsh...if anything vertongen deserves a kick up the arse for his stupid red....and dembele for his suicidal cross field pass for the first goal
To be fair, I've loved us going for EL success. If we were in the CL, we'd have no chance of winning it, like you guys. It's got to the point where I just want us to win a trophy. EPL and CL are out of reach so that leaves 3 others. I'm sure u guys must feel the same nowadays?
I'm not blaming the players for missing the pens just making the point we never win them. We must have the worlds worst record at penalties.
Tried our best , but our lack of quality was never going to win it . Well maybe a miracle and 4th place but I am sure it will be another fruitless adventure .
Drogs - he's just mad that his team only start producing when the third/fourth place is all they have to play for.
Basle's penalties were amazing. Having knocked Utd out of the CL last season, I knew they were no pushovers. They will concede goals, but they counterattack really well and score them too. Spurs lost this tie in the first leg. Conceding two at home made life very difficult.
That's the thing Lidl we didn't play badly, we are not a bad team we just miss that extra quality and that extra belief. I don't believe any of our players thought we would actually win that shoot out.
We need to take the spirit and bottle that helped the come back last thursday...the late equaliser v everton and tonights performance in to our last 6 matches
I have said it before and I'll say it again Levy has ****ed our season up. Our squad has no depth and we have been found out. Season over, can't see us finishing in top 4 now. Thank **** for the F1.....
oh well at least we wont have to listen to that prat beglin any more this season or suffer itv's piss poor coverage either
Another season of Ade, Dempsey, Siggy stardust, creative play coming from Parker, Dembele and last resort Thudd is enough to turn you to drink.
