Comments such as this trying to be clever piss me off. I can guarantee the tabs and in particular The Sun and Mirror get far more transfer scoops and have better placed insiders than any other media outlet.
That may be so, but they often just pluck names out of the air and present it as fact. If a Sky Sports headline says 'Sky Sports understand X have agreed a fee for Y.' You know it's happening. In the tabloids it's just message-board-style speculation more often than not.
