Seriously though, I'd say Oxlade, Wilshere and Welbeck are all technical players. Can't say about Shaw, never really watched him play much (was he in the Olympic squad? I know one of your players was but I pretty much ignored the men's football during the Olympics, except for when Japan played Korea, good times) But Jed played for Farnborough, so you know he's good!
I think it'd be more accurate to say not the way he's been finishing chances this season. I think the rest of his game has been pretty impressive, which is why he's had so much playing time. If he starts firing, he'll be a top striker. Whether that happens at United or elsewhere remains to be seen.

Welbeck is comfortably the best young English attacker. Ahead of Sturridge and Walcott. Have to remember that the Utd tactics are set up to make RVP the main man so he doesn't get as many chances as he would at another club if he was the no 1 striker. Still only 22, and lots of room to grow. Problem he has is deciding whether playing out wide for Utd is the best thing to do atm, or try and become that no 1 striker at another club.
Luke will only continue his international career if he stops pulling out of the U21 squads due to niggles only to turn out for Saints on the following weekend. Pearce has already noticed this and made a sarcastic comment so he will have to sort himself out if he is to be taken seriously by the national management team As a Saints fan, I am more than happy to see him turn out every week for us but he will no doubt want an international career too ans we will have to live with its risks
These decisions won't be being made by Luke. Youngsters want to play every game and I'm sure he would want to play for England. The first time he did turn up and was sent back. My guess is that he is carrying a niggle and is being nursed through the season.
I'd say Welbeck was more about pace and power rather than technical ability. Each time i have seen him this season his first touch and decision making is pretty poor. That being said he is very direct and has plenty of time to improve. I think it's fair to say he hasn't had much chance in his preffered position. He's slowly turning in to the new Walcott! This list on the whole is pretty strange though, but I guess it's typical of the English media to put the world at their feet and be disapointed when it doesn't pay off.
