Do you think Peason could persuade Bothroyd to come to us next season..... could we afford him? I think he is the kind of muscle we need up from for Fryatt, Simpson & Mclean to play off....

Gerrard - don't think we'll see him again until next season, possibly in a Bluebird shirt if he keeps the weight off over summer.

And Olaf - back with us - hopefully to be moved on again....... can you hear me Warnock you panto dame....?

Hate the quietness, but it's better than Brownie & Duffman bigging themselves up in pre-season!

we need something to "blow our socks off" don't we??

IMO Bothroyd will go to somewhere like Wolves/Blackburn even Everton if they don't rate Beckford..
Gerrard likely to play for Bluebirds yes
Oli - move on cos too expensive - QPR?

We haven't got a prayer with Bothroyd, he'll be in the Premier League next season, I doubt we'll see Gerrard in a City shirt again and we'll definitely try and shift Oli(there's a rumour that Wolves want him back).

Any chance of gerrard coming back I think has gone, west ham apparently want dave jones and i reckon Cardiff probably want someone new anyway, fresh start for gerrard back at Cardiff would probably answer that one

Yes he capitalised on some woefully inept defending but did miss to sitters prior to that and there just the ones they showed on telly.

Are you joking? Beckford's ****e. As said above, his goal came about only as a result of some inept defending from Chelsea, followed by a lucky bounce of the ball. He had two great chances, absolute sitters, and missed both. One was from within about 10-yards and it went out for a throw-in FFS!

Beckford is not really sh1te is he. He's not amazing but its unfair to call him ****e. 10 goals in his first premiership season, most of those came from off the bench too. not bad for a guy who's skipped a league. we all know how hard it is to have a 10+ a season striker in the championship let alone the PL.

One thing Bothroyd does lack is muscle - I believe he's come in for a fair amount of stick from Cardiff fans for failing to get stuck in.

Anyway he's off to the Prem and being a freebie is likely to interest the likes of Everton.

Not that it really interests me but Cardiff will hardly have anyone of note left at the club now the loanees are off.

As for Oli - yes please to Wolves and JB to DQPR.

Yes, as good as a World Cup winner who has played for two of England's biggest clubs and has a Premier League strike ratio that is better than 1 in 2...

    ;)

Worse. If he ever gets into double figures in the Premier League I'll bare my backside on the KC pitch.

And before you say it, I'm talking about Beckford, not Torres! <laugh>

To be fair to him, I think it's hard to get stuck in when the manager's instructions are dive like a submarine at the slightest contact like 3 or 4 of Cardiff's players were doing in the game at the KC.
