I must be missing something here. i always thought that if you were tried and found niot guilty you couldnlt be tried again. Has that changed evrywhere or is it just scottish law? Oh and I tend to agree about taking religion out of the class room. I'm a catechism teacher for kids making their Communion and they have to attend the classes regardless of what school they go to - might as well take religion out of the curriculum altogether and leave it to the churches, synagogues, mosques etc..
Closing denominational schools isn't going to a help. Those rancid anti-Catholic bigots are taught it in the home

If you don't like religious schools then don't send your kids to them. The people who go are happy enough so what is the problem?
Ah wiz messing as well you know. Bigotry is indeed taught in the home, and to a certain extent by childhood peers and their families.
