I'll come along and caddie so I don't make a twat of myself (more than I usually do). I'll carry 24 desperados in my golf bag and just get ****ered.
No you can play and bring the beer. . otherwise its just me and windy... and he is a good golfer.. at least if you play i stand a chance of not losing.
I like Phil Mik, proper nice bloke with no edge to him whatsoever. Woods, while he can be a twat, is to be admired for other things. Try this on; he played 18 full holes of a US Open play off with a ****ing broken leg and won. Legend. *edit - the forces that go through said leg while playing a shot are absolutely immense*
My problem with Phil is that is was always 'too american' for me if you know what I mean. I know it sounds stupid as he is American but hopefully you know what I mean.. Like I say though my opinion changed slightly in the Ryder Cup.
I'm up for that. You have to drink every time you play a shot. I think I'd need more than 24 bottles for that tho'
Not 606 golf day it is.. I'm up for it.. Though swarbs you'd have the furthest to travel.. Unless your in Manc for a weekend. In which case the middle ground for everyone to play would be where I live as windy is 2 hours south east of me, Eric an rhc are about an hour and half north west .. Thusly making me the middle.. Golf buggies are £10 round here for a round.
I'll probably be around at some point in the summer, deffo 24th and 25th August tho' one of those days will be my brother's 21st. Don't plan around me tho' - not even sure my old clubs are still at my parent's house...could always borrow my dad's and probably **** them up Sure I can't tempt you all? http://www.stonehavengolfclub.com/
Looks a tidy little course that. Links/seaside is where I'm at, I can't stand there new parkland **** which are generally attached to some hotel or other. That said, I'm at the Belfry next week, which is exactly that. Good course though, must be said, although the new one we play on the second day is ****. Celtic Manor is non too shabby either.
Haven't played it myself, but my mum and dad loved it when they came to visit. They only put one ball in the sea as well. Just as long as the wind off the coast isn't too bad - the last few weeks it's been unplayable! I've been there a couple of times, tho never played. Working with a business with offices in Bristol, Gloucester and Swansea so they decided Celtic Manor was the best place to have meetings. Nice bar
My company built the Ryder Cup clubhouse and footbridge. Not the bar you're referring to though, I assume you mean the main one in the hotel. Yeah, very nice. Will be playing the 2010 at some point this year, I've had a crack at the other two but not that one yet. It all knocks spots off the Belfry.
