So heres my theory, he will buy KR, he will then buy FC merge both teams and have the one team playing from Craven Park. Once there is no FC there is no lease agreement at the KC and the council will not be able to object to the sale using Dull FC as their main excuse. Also the cost of buying both clubs is pocket change to him compared to building a new stadium.

    Any thoughts?

Would have thought there would be rules that you cant own more then one rugby club in the same league

Aren't RL clubs franchises? Why not just buy hull fc and move them back home to Gateshead?

I'm sure if there is that rule it could be got around, Ehab own one club, Assam own the other. So longs as they aren't owned by the same holding company etc.

To be honest the eggchasers are no longer a threat to us.

Both clubs have underachieved and stagnated despite the efforts of Hudgell and Adam Pearson.

Interest is at an all time low and falling, we get more against Watford than they pull for a derby, no one cares anymore apart from dinosaurs like Gerruummonssaarrd Gerraghty but you can't keep polishing a turd.

    Hull is a football city.

Its not about whether they are a threat to us its about the KC and how Papa Allam can get his hands on it.

In the second tier, whilst they're at the top of their very sport. It's important.

Hudgell's off at the end of the season, isn't he?

Merging the rugby clubs won't happen. There's too much history & rivalry between the sides and they won't merge together.

If the 2 owners want to merge then who can stop them?

Hull FC have a long term lease at the KC, for which they're committed to paying £500k a year.

If they move to Craven Park, the lease doesn't disappear, they still have to pay £500k a year, which is why they won't move and your conspiracy theory is total nonsense I'm afraid.

Is the lease with the rugby club, or with the company that owns the rugby club?

The lease is between Fc and the SMC so the contract could be ended by mutual rescission.

Is it? I've really no idea but, I would have thought an agreement between gateshead t/a Hull FC 2000 (or whatever it was called) and the SMC is very different than one between Hull RLFC and the SMC? I guess part of the takeover would include honouring the lease?

You think Assem might buy a company, then put it into administration, just to get out of a lease with the SMC, a company which he owns?

If they're no longer a threat why do you constantly bring up these ****e threads?

Some on here enjoy watching both sports

If they meant nothing you wouldn't talk about them.
