Whilst down at HQ I'm going to get an up to date replica shirt (JD Sports is my current one and it was Influence before that). I'm thinking either home kit or third kit, which I really like. Thoughts? No I can't afford both.

Why not wait until the new kits are out for next season? Only a few games left with the cursed thin hoops.

For those on a budget, now is the time to get a shirt.

The season that's gone before makes no difference in the grand scheme of pride when faced with adversity.

It says, no matter what happens, we're here and this is our team.

I walk about Ipswich (3.5 mile round trip to work) like a pariah/laughing stock to some with my hat (old badge :) ) on and and head held high.

Avoid any that say "Waitrose" across the front.

Bought the third kit myself, nice fabric. If you like the design then I can recommend it. Think it cost something like £25 now, bargain <ok>

Third kit is definitely the one to go for.

Nice looking and it's blue (albeit sky blue). It's quite a unique design too. Wear it with pride mate!!!

My daughter wore my Guinness shirt to her first match last Sunday.
She looked lovely. I was so proud

Thick hoops, with red edging ...lovely

I like the 75/76 shirts the most, too. And the same design in "Dennis The Menace" black and red when required to change.

What I dislike is games where the shorts get changed to blue because the home team has white shorts. Blue shorts just don't look right to me.

Wait until next year unless finances are tight. Go for the 3rd if you have to have one, the red one is horrendous, the home one looks awful so I think the 3rd is best even though it isnt really a great shirt.

Each to their own. I think the current shirt is a design classic and so it will prove to be IMO .. Last season's was awful with the stick on but the designers got our hoops bang on ... totally unique worldwide (there is a clue there) and already ready looks super traditional:
