I hate days like today. The weather is beautiful (possibly a tad chilly), the sun is out but i am stuck in a dingy warehouse. I long for the days where i used to be able to run outside and play on the green at the front of the house, or in the garden. DAMN GROWING UP!!!!!!

I am on a course this week, Dangerous Goods by Air all to Civilian criteria with a civilian qualification at the end of it! But it is hard work head in a book for 2 1/2 days then an 3 hour exam this afternoon, followed by more lessons tomorrow morning and another exam tomorrow afternoon<yikes> The worst thing is the 'Q' only last for 2 years:( so I have to do it all over again in 2 years:( The worst thing it is open book but if anyone has seen the IATA Regulations 2 inch thick book, nightmare!!

    Anyway back to my Bordeaux;)

Morning all, weather very frustrating at the moment as it is wet again and I need to be doing things outside. :(

Yesterday my satnav died and although I don"t use it a lot it is very useful. It is now illegal here to use one that warns you of speed cameras, and the old one didn't have a means that I could find of switching the warnings off. Looking at replacements I find that warnings now take the form of telling you that you are approaching an area where special care needs to be taken for safety reasons. Sounds like nothing much has changed. ;)

Thanks for the coffee ak, it should keep me going until I get some lunch out.

Moving away from football for a moment - I have to report being a rather proud dad at the moment. My son's band have just recorded their first EP and, once the copyright process has been followed, will be promoting it via radio stations, iTunes, their own website (when he gets around to creating it..) etc etc.

Whether it is successful or not doesn't really matter to my wife and myself - he has worked extremely hard over the last year at college to get to this stage, a complete reversal of his years at school. Chip off the old block really.....

Well done BB jnr - if they start touring and want some gigs around the Watford area, just let me know. Mrs W_Y's nephew promotes a lot of gigs in the area and are always looking for new talent.

Signed the lease today for the flat I move into a week Saturday. As the previous occupants have moved out, I can start moving some stuff in but I'll wait until after I'm back from my weekend in the Isle of Man (red-eye tomorrow morning). The friend who I'm staying with, his dad organised a music evening at Douglas Golf Club on Saturday night and asked my friend for some help and as he said yes, I'm going along as well and get free entry and free drinks. :)
