    It became 5-4-3-2-1 or summat.

To exploit oops cater for the burgeoning mod revival.

I bought 2 items of clothing from Transvaal.

    1) An Adam and the Ants t-shirt
    &
    2) A t-shirt with a print of the front page of The Sun declaring - Sid Vicious Is Dead.

I was 10 and used to wear them to Wyke Youth Club.

A trip to nearby Military Mart was on the cards for those who hankered after that oxfam/Clash look.

Used to buy leather belts with nice military clasps from there and stick a line of studs on them.

I lived off Spring Bank for 23 years loved every minute of it but I wouldn't like to live there now. I hardly recognise the place.

5-4-3-2-1 was next to the Trog Bar, it was the same bloke(John), but it was never down Spring Bank.

And it was called The End, before it became 5-4-3-2-1.

He buggered off and opened a much bigger store in Leeds.

Bloody hell OLM, that's my fiancee 2nd from the left - mainly hidden behind the guys shoulder. Her friend is to the right of her on the left of the picture! As soon as I saw it I knew it and she's just confirmed it! She reckon's it's March/April 77. (She's 53 on Friday)

I'm in shock...mind you I had the Jeff Lynne look at the time had I walked past as that was taken that lot would have beaten me up...<laugh>

    Can't be 77.

'Rat' has his Exploited T shirt on plus another kid has his GSTQ t shirt on.

As has been mentioned already, rat has an Exploited tee-shirt on and they didn't form until 1980, so it's almost certainly 1981.

Apologies CA and OLM - missed those. Definitely Ms. Lincolntiger though! She corrected me also and thought it might be later. Didn't notice the t-shirt, she recognised Rat though...

If it wasn't for that tee-shirt throwing a spanner in the works, I'd say the picture was definitely late 70's.

At the height of P-Rock TV (anyone remember it?) I went on a trip to Edinburgh with my parents and Wattie Buchan went storming passed me, nearly knocked me over (hashtag claimtofame)

Considering nobody seems to know of this bloke anymore, maybe he's a real life Dr.Who?
