if the people on supposedly LOW wages played every week to the level they think they have
    scored goals
were the first on the teamsheet
    kept clean sheets
    played for the TEAM
kept us out of the bottom three
then and only then could they ask for more money and deserve it
all season we have heard about divisions in the dressing room
they need to get over themselves and stop acting like spoilt brats
win the next 6 and they will be rewarded with bonuses
cant believe he is crying because he only gets 29000 a week

Hi, Norwich fan, just popped over. Do excuse me if I've got this wrong, but wasn't there rumblings like this earlier in the season, or the back end of the last? Wages will always be a sticky subject especially when most Premier players earn more in a week than I do in a week. This obviously becomes apparent when so-called superstars come into your team on double wages. As for Jamie Mackie, yes, I thought he'd be great for us and would have to take a pay cut too.

As if Jamie Mackie tells builders what his wage is. As if he's on £29k a week. As if he could get close to that anywhere else anyway. I call shenanigans.

Personally I cant see Mackie telling 'Dave the builder' what he is earning and that he is p'd off with QPR? I met mackie once and he doesn't seem that kind of bloke?
    However
let's just say that this is correct, then for me he is on too much money for what he gives us. He is one of the players that needs to go as well.
Even in the last game against Wigan, in those dying secs the ball comes to him and instead of controlling it and going into the corner he gives it back to them and the rest is history.
He reminds me of Stuart Wardley where he has a good season then shows us his limitations. Don't get me wrong I like Mackie but he won't be in the new Arry team.

Bingo! Nice one Flanners. That was my train of thought.

This builder has become a close mate of Mackie's having worked on his previous house in Chiswick.

if he'd ran the ball into the corner in injury time on Sunday, like any other pro, he might not be facing a relegation pay cut. The dozy twonk

There are with the new players, Zamora, SWP, Granero etc. just the old ones.

He will be on 15k and hes a better player on SWP on 60k, Id leave my job too if an incompetent person earned 4 times as much as me.

He can count himself lucky he's on 29k, he's a championship player at best, and if Dave the builder is such a good mate why is he spilling the beans to some other muppet, all bollocks me thinks

I understand he is having a new roof with full on thatching from wild vegetation such as water reed (Phragmites australis), bulrush/cat tail (Typha spp.), broom (Cytisus scoparius), heather (Calluna vulgaris), and rushes (Juncus spp. and Schoenoplectus lacustris) was probably used to cover shelters and primitive dwellings in Europe in the late Palaeolithic period, but so far no direct archaeological evidence for this has been recovered. These have all been environmentally sourced from little and great Frensham ponds ... If only he was on more money he could have afforded: Shingles made of various materials such as wood, slate, asbestos-cement, bitumen-soaked paper covered with aggregate (asphalt shingle), even a composite or ceramic copy would make his gaff look dapper dan ... Not only is the whole roofing project now in Jeopardy he has have to move to Norwich?

The builder involved is in complete limbo sitting in his VW van with unnecessary 20 inch alloy wheels. " Seriously Chief at the end of the day basically ... I ain't putting gear on Mackie's roof without seeing the colour of his money... we are off to the cafe to pick up more materials in our dewalt workwear.

I think this is all rubbish. It is very normal on construction sites around the globe to do exactly the same job as someone earning 10 times what you do, or ten times less. It depends on where you come from, an Indonseian will be earning 10 times less than a European, and an American 10 times more because of the Economies in their respective countries of origin. Same in football you come from Plymouth you start on 10 time less, if you come from Madrid 10 times more. I don't believe Mackie is quite so stupid as to be really getting himself wound over this, but on the other hand I won't be too worried if he leaves. Forgetting Park, for me Mackie has been our most dissapointing player this season, he shouts out he is trying like hell, but his skill level seems to be going downhill and he doesn't engage his brain, as in the last minutes Sunday.

I think I could scrape by on £15k a week. Would be a decent salary in the Championship.

Of course it would but how would you feel if your employer bought in someone on 4 times the amount you earn and couldnt do their job?
