So do we, but we'd sell out our allocation in day, no Premier League club should ever not fill Wembley in the FA Cup. Millwall have sold out their allocation and requested more, it's going to be like a Millwall home game.
Indeed, though you'd expect that would make more people want to go and watch it. Or maybe they don't care, because they know they'll lose the final anyway.
popularSTAND fanzine ‏@vivarovers Alternate headline; 20,000 Millwall fans FAIL to turn up to their team's games on a regular basis.
I know a Wigan fan and as soon as they made it he said getting a ticket would be a piece o'piss. Nobody is bothered about it in the slightest. Might just be me and it's a pointless argument cos it wont change but I'll make it anyway.....semis, unless they involve London teams, shouldnt be at Wembley. Once the Olympic Stadium is converted Id even suggest they use that for London semis not involving WHU. And if WHU are in it then use Emirates (unless against Arsenal). Balls to it, they shouldnt use Wembley.
Millwall had a massive support from the 1930s to late 1960s, then the Docks closed, the area was allowed to be run down and then bulldozed and a big chunk of our traditional support moved away from London, rarely returning. In the 1950s our crowds were 30,000 plus, not bad for a Division 3 South team.
I don't think semis should be at Wembley. I think 90 odd thousand blokes sitting together all with a semi would be a bit gay. Each to their own I guess.
