The Germans were actually pretty good at war, they would have taken over the whole of Europe on there own, with only the 'help' of Italy, and I use the word 'help' lightly as if anything they hindered the Germans. As the Germams waisted valuable time bailing Italy's arses out in the Balkans, which delayed there attack on the Russians, which ment the Germans had to invade Russia in freezing conditions during the winter. Had they gone a few months earlier as was planned they easily would have succeeded. Even then though the Germans still would have conquered Europe had America not come and bailed us all out. The worst fighters have to be either the French or the Italians. The French army was so backwards during the First World War that they were dumb enough to attack the Germans on horse back, and in the 2nd World War they were rolled over by the Germans within weeks. The Italians weren't great either, they were better at running rather than fighting
An auld guy I used to work with used to tell stories about fighting in WW2. He said he went into the bushes for a pish one night and came back with 20 tally prisoners with just his dick in his hand. He loathed the tallies.
