I never proclaimed to be a military historian but maybe you could highlight what we got wrong and I will gladly tell them.
Good enough to subjugate the Welsh and Scots so that you can do our fighting for us though. The Scottish - good at square goes, bad in battles. The Welsh - good at singing, bad at everything else. And the Irish - good at drinking, bad at thinking.
The Yanks are relative novices when it comes to the old war game. They'd never even fought on foreign soil until a hundred years ago.
Belgium are relative newcomers to the world stage Dan, even so they still managed to build a world empire of sorts, they can't be that bad.
So the yanks done well in Korea, Vietnam, Afgahnistan & Iraq. The French done well in the Napoleonic Wars, Franco-Prussian War, WW2, Indochina and Algeria? And the British Army haven't kicked ass all over the globe.
You doing PR for the British Army? Anything would think you have some sort of sad bias towards the British army and that you're so stupid that you see any slight on them as a slight on yourself.
No just having a discussion. Didn't you think this was a "spastic" thread? Why are you still commenting?
A simple rule of thumb: mainly beer drinking countries = good at war mainly wine drinking countries = crap at war
