Just wondering if any of you pay monthly for you season ticket and how much interest you pay?
Of course our tickets will go up next season, I'm guessing about 10%. But I will have to start paying monthly next season as I've got a lot to pay out for this year and was wondering the overall price difference in paying in full?

Any ideas would be great :)
    Bring on League 1!!!

    GFC have used Zebra finance.
    2012/13
Medway Stand Block A ( adult ) purchased pre 21/4/2013 (cash) £340 Purchases from June onwards ( cash) was £391
Zebra finance prices was £378.50 to £ 435.30

ps you'll be lucky if the increase in 'only' 10%

If you want a price comparison on the above, I paid early bird £325 for my season ticket this season, Lower Tier Medway.

Right thank you, I'm in the lower Medway and pay currently £390 so I'm expecting this to reach £450. Just a pain I can't keep my seat and pay each match.

Mike I don't know if you are aware but myself and alwaysright are awaiting a price on a box, so if your thinking of paying that sort of money, might be worth hanging in there until the club gets back to me. If that falls through I'll be going for my normal seat. That does seem a lot that you paid are you in the centre blocks?

brb The price Mike paid was the cash figure post June of last year. On finance that would have been £435.30
Mike's deluding himself if he thinks his cost will 'only' go up to about £ 450 for next season. That might be the cash figure - but the finance deal will probably be closer to £ 500.
This will provode some people with a quandry - have they got £450 'up front' ? ( or do you save on finance charges & wait for the deals / freebies ?
I do hope that Mr. Scally does not place the club in a position whereby current season ticket holders think hard on the deals given this season and decide not to renew.

I expect an increase but nothing as high as 10%. Current inflation is running at only 2.8% and even allowing for a "league one premium" any increase shouldn't really go much higher than 4 or 5 percent. After all the club have already stated that the finances for league 1 and league 2 are very similar.

I would love you to be right - but -
The price actually came down a little last season. Since then we've had a promotion. When we were promoted to the Championship the season ticket prices were raised by more than 30%.
I fully understand your point about inflation - but it does seeem that certain products always seem to buck that trend. I would think that circa 10% would be a starting point. ( really hope it's less but.... )

I renewed early last season at the same price as the year before.
I can understand the rise of 30% for the championship to some degree. However, the club have already stated that league 1 and league 2 finances are similar so any major rise cannot really be justified. I don't remember a big rise after the last league 2 promotion either but I may be wrong on that. The club has got a difficult balancing act to do with regard to season tickets. In the current economic climate and in the Medway area in particular there's not a lot of cash to go around these days!

With PDS claiming that the difference in the budget of L1 & L2 being very little - he has not been clever if he goes on to announce a 'significant' rise in ticket prices. He cannot have it both ways !
From memory when we were last promoted to L1 the ticket prices went up around 20%. I have tried to find the exact numbers from my 'stuff' - but haven't got the numbers. A 20% rise on my tickets would see me ( & you ) paying £ 408. This is 'only' £ 17.74 per game & probably worth taking up - not just for the savings, but for the same seats with my friends & priorities. It's just a shame for those who can't afford a big lump in one go.... and as I have previously stated, some season ticket holders may be disuaded from renewing owing to the sheer numbers of deals that have been on offer this season.

If you was able to renew at last seasons prices, that means that the (inevitable) increase for next season will be the first in 2 years - PDS will remind us of that fact.
If you paid £ 340 on the 'early deal' ( a figure that for next season will be 2 years old ) I cannot see that we will get 'away with' anything as 'low' as £ 375. PDS might try to use psychology and set the price for us at £ 395-399 ( but only for early deals ) - that will make you the winner ( I hope )

brb I'm in block E row K so have very good seats. The most expensive I understand. I purchased the early bird deal for the last 2 seasons but I'm assuming this offer won't stand this year.

You win ! I will get my ticket (in May) for £ 365
I must admit I was very surprised at only a £ 25 increase. I was pleasantly surprised at the 'extras' being offered to season ticket holders - Mr. Scally obviously has been reading our posts on Not606.

In all the excitement today, I did not get to see the brochure/leaflet for the new ST prices!

Anyone got a link or some details please. Medway Stand Lower. Is there any early bird pricing.

It is a great offer, I think the prices are very attractive and I am happy with them, I will be buying a season ticket now.

I just had a look at the online ticket office. The area of my season ticket is priced at £350 +£2.50 admin charge online for each ST next season 2013/14. This is an increase on my early bird price for 2012/13 of £25.

However, what discounts or promotions they are offering to current ST holders I am unsure.

Also alwaysright, I noted online it stated that all GRS ST's are unreserved seating?
