No offence but your mate must be a bit of an idiot. The only way Berbatov wouldn't get 10 league goals would be if he got a serious injury, he would've been on for 20'ish if it hadn't been for injuries I reckon, and that's whilst playing for Fulham.
I said county, just in case you misread... Anyway... Personally, I like watching football from the continent. I don't do what a lot of people do, and follow a club in each league, but I just love watching the games as a bonafide neutral. I'll be watching the Bundesliga highlights show on itv4 after Late Kickoff, for example. Saying that, I do own a lot of foreign footie shirts - mainly from visiting those places though.
He's a Man Utd fan as well, he never rated the guy, despite him being their top scorer in his last full season for them...
Yeah, roseniorhisgranisfromhull pointed that out. I'm getting old Outside of the COUNTY I only really could say I enjoy watching Fulham and Manchester City. I don't know why, but I just do. Fulham have the magician Berbatov now which makes it even better but Manchester City on their day can play some fluid stuff. The likes of Silva, Nasri, Aguero, Tevez can all play wonderful stuff when they're up for it and it's a joy to watch. (IMO)
And he played about 7 minutes of football that season. The man is a genius, he said he wants to play football till he's 40, maybe City could sign him in 8/9 years.
Yeah. He is from Manchester though, so at least he has decent reasoning for supporting them, unlike glory hunters.
I honestly think he'd get that with ease if he could avoid getting injured, which wouldn't be easy, the CB's in this league would just try and clatter him.
Aah well. That's ok then. As long as it isn't someone Hull born, raised in Hull and supports.... Manchester United! They piss me off...
If it's any team that isn't Hull, they're a prick. Replace Man Utd with Leeds and you get my dad. I'm glad I didn't follow suit
I support Hull City and North Ferriby. I like watching Fulham and Manchester City. There's nothing worse than not supporting your local team unless you have reasons (i.e. born and lived there, family ties etc)
I suppose those are good reasons. But I've rarely come across someone who is like that. A lot of the people in my College support teams like Man Utd and Liverpool, but have STs for Hull - I can deal with that fine, as they are supporting their local team as well.
You'll get that in College though. Those that don't actually attend football matches tend to be the Glory Supporters. I can remember when I went to Hull College and was astounded at the amount of people who turned up in Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal, Everton etc shirts. I actually felt as though I wasn't in Hull College at all.
I can't believe Jones needed a deflection to score that. Infact, looking at it again, if there wasn't a deflection he would've missed an open goal from being practically on the goal line. FFS! Saw someone in the pub with Man Utd shirt with "vengeance" on the back. Dunno what the hell that's about.
Can we re-open that room 101 debate again, i'd like to nominate footballer's **** haircuts. They earn all that money and the look like a load of twats with tramlines in their hair or part shaven heads and quiffs/ mohawks on top. Looks ****in daft.
