I put a bet on Djurgarden v Mjallby, Mjallby were 1-0 up in the second half and the odds were 3/4 on Mjallby. Good odds so I backed them. Mjallby won and my account was credited with my winnings. Now my winnings have gone, my stake returned and the bet marked "void". Is this what bookies do if they decide they offered too good odds?

Oh, thanks for that. I thought I'd won because they credited me with my winnings. Then cruely took them away again. Bleeding Swedish animals.
I remember a while back ladbrokes got the odds mixed up for a tennis match. Djokovic was priced at 10/1 I think and I backed him but they voided that too
Bookies used to put up generous odds and then claim "palpable error" if they lost They can't do this anymore since bets are now legally enforceable, not that it stops them from trying
I think they do have something in the small print about genuine errors with prices. They should not void the bet though, they should pay you out at the price it was supposed to be at the time. You should get in contact with a company called IBAS (google them). They are are basically the law of the land when it comes to betting descrepancy's, and if they think you've been hard done by they can make the bookies pay you out
