I heard Shaun North on the radio earlier hoping to get offered a new contract as his current deal runs out at the end of this season. North arrived with Paul Buckle from Torquay at the beginning of last season and stayed with us after Buckle was sacked. He played his part in helping us stay up last season as he picked up points when he was caretaker boss and helped assist Mark McGhee when he took over. Obviously we are not privy to information on what goes on behind closed doors so I have no opinion on if he should stay or not, therefore I fully trust John Ward (if he ends up being our manager) in making the right decision regarding Norths future at Rovers. What decision do you think will be made though.... Do you think North will get a new contract? Do you think Ward will get in a new number 2 like Andy Tilson for example? Do you think Ward would promote someone already at the club like Marcus Stewart? Over to you Gasheads .
Whatever Ward thinks..if he's doing a good job for him, keep him. Doesn't seem to be too much going wrong at the moment. I wonder though if it'll be in a slightly 'lower' role.
