Frank and TN8 are on Follow Follow most days. Juice dropped me a random note on my facebook page as did Pope. Haven't heard from Teddy1873 for some time. Heard Brum appeared on 606, haven't heard from Mennie for ages either. All great guys - I miss them all.
Rocket - I tried registering for Follow Follow but what the feck is all that wanting my mobile number etc? Anyway, Im not going to knock the chaps who come on here nowadays, they have a good crack and thats what its all about. This was the best forum on the internet bar none. It's a shame what happened but I suppose that's just the way it goes sometimes. Looking back, The Getalong Gang never really stood a chance, when push came to shove all the strong minded ****s were on the Troll's side. Ace, CG and Jacky the Alkie against Rocket, Pope and Frank.... a mis-match if ever there was one.
This is no **** mate, I'd literally just landed back at Heathrow from Miami and Juice text me and said "Get yersel on SPN now". I was like "Eh? what you on about ya daftie" "Get on there and you will have the biggest laugh on the boards you've ever had" Well feck me, fair dos, I got home and logged onto SPN and read the "Higginsgate" thread and I was in bits, fecking rolling about. I called Juice and said "are you serious ya **** and he said aye, Rocket played a blinder" etc. Funniest thread ever without a doubt
Brum got the sack from his work. Frank is our part-time personal trainer. He comes on gives us a prod about doing some exercise then ****s off. I miss my rows with Frank (And Pope) on here TBH. Some of them were magic, my favourite bar none was the "Frank's A Closet Case/Venom Can't Get A Ride" one. I'm going to look that one out and have a laugh at it right now.
is the pope no in jail I remeber that one - was that the same as the one when Frank posted about McGregor "getting a kicking"
I'm sure TN8 started that "Popes in jail for exposing himself at Ayr Ice-Rink" rumour Nah, that was a later one. Which was also really funny. The one I'm talking about was Wizgub and Frank exchanging tips for getting a muscled body. So I called them narcissistic closet-cases and it descended into a 3/4 page argument Frank came out with a couple of belters in that one too, I'm still looking for it. Brilliant fun, you can let off steam without actually getting angry.
Brum was a good taig. Liked the banter and dished it out in return, same with Anport. Did they have to make uber big chairs for Brum and was that overhead the reason he got the dunt? TN8 was funny as, was on the 606 boards about 3 years or so ago when wee SMADA was biting like a ****.
