I've not been to Hampden in a few years - I've just not bothered going to games away from Parkhead (it's kept the cost right down and the missus off my case). But, I'm going on Sunday - cos I fancied it this year and the price for ST holders was too good to pass up. I'm in section C4 which is about as good a seat as you're going to get in such a dreadfully designed stadium - could've got a cheaper one if I took a seat in the East Stand but the view from behind the goals in Hampden can be absolutely baws - you can be halfway up the stand and (because they're slope is shallow) still in line with the crossbar but fecking miles from the actual field. Anyway, I'm right up for it for some reason - gonnae make a day of it and get mangled.
Very probably. United have got a bit of a fight about them under McNamara - last minute goal at the weekend and aw that.
So do you think Celtic would have faced heartbreak if they had played Queen's Park instead of half decent professional sides?
I guess we'll not know until Celtic play Queen's Park at Hampden. You asked the question and I answered it based on events which have actually happened. Anything else is if, buts and maybe's.
I'm not comparing anything. At no point have I compared Rangers wins at Hampden to Celtic's losses at Hampden. Q. Has fat Sal suffered Hampden heartbreak yet? A. No. He's won there twice this season. A simple question received a simple answer, no comparisons made.
I thought it was clear that I was talking about Cup Finals/Semi Finals, that's what the thread is about after all? So i'll answer my own question. McCoist has never been to Hampden on Cup duty in his capacity as Rangers Manager.
After the last few debacles at Hampden, I'm not that confident about Sunday. Still good to get a few beers and head hoping for a chance of a double this season. We're in the South stand again, same as the St. Mirren game, which is pish as well. Anything lower than half way down the stand, and you can see barely **** all.
Awful kick off time ,time to rattle in a few goals at Hampden . Anybody know what time the last five top6 fixtures are getting released today ???
