I never liked the woman or the effect that she had on many of the people of northern England, I never liked her policies of privatising national utilities, I never appreciated the fact that she effectively turned the country into a police state and set her army of officers - many with their epaulettes removed to hide identification - against the people of her own country.

Yes I openly admit, whether it makes me unpopular or not, that I would be more than happy to dance on her grave.

She ruined countless people's lives while filling the pockets of her cronies by selling off British Industry. She generated unemployment even faster than this government and then she scapegoated her own victims just like this government is emulating. Unless you were fairly priviledged or a yuppie the Thatcher era was a painful time.
I'm no hypercrite, I thought she was a bitch when she was alive and I'm not changing my opinion now.

Was there any real need?

 

I went out for a couple of hours this afternoon and when I got back I was surprised at how this thread progressed. Couldn't see this happening at all

My old man would probably be saying a lot worse than what Craig just did. I'm pretty sure he'd be starting a "Thatcher is dead" conga around the whole Country. Some people were affected by Thatcher badly and are driven by past torment to say certain things though it still doesn't justify what does get said.

 

I hate politicians of all kinds especially this one as I used to enjoy my milk at school and I was lead to believe that it was this woman that put a stop to that. Politicians are self-serving scum.
