Oh yeah definitely. Can't disagree with that as it was bloody awful.

I was just making the point that her Party really only lost faith with her because of her views on the EU so they all turned against her to save face.

Ironically, they're the views that all party's are now trying to adopt as policy, to counter the UKIP support.

Yeah, I said that to my missus earlier. How times change...

The mass unemployment, the closure of the mines, the poll tax were all massive factors in her reign (can you call it that?).

She was definitely a driven and enthusiastic PM but sometimes driven on the wrong ideas unfortunately. Some of her policies and actions put my family though hell.

Support most of what she did - possibly some of the utilities she sold off were an error - but a lot of what was sold was ****ing failing dismally.

All in all i liked her balls, spirit and honesty, if not all of her policies. You knew were you stood with her, have we been able to say that since?

It's funny how the people who receive money now for damage done to them from working in coal mines and how horrifically unsafe it was still moan by the fact they were shut down

Now we have pensioners dying and frightened to put their heating on cause she privatised Gas and Electric, patients dying of infections picked up in hospital cause she privatised the cleaning of the hospitals and one of the biggest rates of bankruptsy in Europe due to her enabling people to take on credit they could ill afford, then destroying the industries that made this country great ie shipbuilding, steel and mining. LET THE STREET PARTIES BEGIN the bitch is dead

A lot of those pensioners will have had their pension pots boosted by the performance of the shares and dividends paid out by the privatised utility companies. The fuel price issue is more to do with rising oil and gas prices and the perception that the global reserves are depleting. We are are peak oil levels right now, there is loads of the stuff around as there is with gas because of new recovery methods such as shale gas. The problem is that the exploration is being done in more exotic and hard to access parts of the globe which makes the exploitation and getting the stuff to market increasingly expensive as new infrastructure is required.
