Morning all, no snow here, but we have had a couple of light rain showers. Should we get promoted what will happen to our wage bill I wonder. The three clubs that went up last year have seen that you can still lose money. Reading :: Wages of £26.55m generating a loss of £11.72m, approximate debt £30m Southampton :: Wages of £38.59m generating a loss of £8.37m, approximate debt £35m West Ham :: Wages of £41.65m generating a loss of £25.50m, approximate debt £130m I think that our situation is different as we can borrow players and do not have to pay all of their wages. Reading however claim to be trying to keep their spending under control and do not look as if they will stay up.
Well I must apologise people for not being able to have a 'win at all costs' mentality...bring back capital punishment.I see it as a blatant attempt by the club to get rapid acceleration with the very slight advantage of having 70?100? players they could switch around if they choose at present. Dont like the thought either that the clubs in the hands of people not entirely concentrating on things Vicarage. Suppose there are those who will go along anything the club chooses e.g put out a team of cloggers, and there are those who care about nowt except league position.I also dont choose to join the Monday: Oh how appalling theyve sacked Dyche Tuesday : OOO how exciting Zolas coming . I'm also bearing in mind how generous people feel at present with the success of the last few months(due credit there to Mr Zola, still had to mould the Temps into a team)....but have also seen how rapidly that can change on here. Mr Wearing Yellow, with yer almost hippy-like appeasing pronouncements on here sometimes, but retaining the more familiar almost hate everyone choice dialogue you 'entertain' everyone with, suggest you get own head in order before using words like 'perverse' about others !! Keep the faith by all means...but hopefully not too blind.
He returns later. ÃBV have their first league match on sunday 5. maÃ. playing against ÃA from Akranes. There is one cup match tonight when ÃBV play in ReykjavÃk against Fylkir. I do not think they will progress as the team is in a bad position. I am quiet as KA are very bad in this competition. The team has four points from five matches and two remaining, one is visiting the bottom club. David James has some words about Paulo di Canio in mbl.is. I think they are not friends.
Afternoon all from a bright and mild West West London...thanks for the frothy AK. Did anyone else catch the end of 606 last night? Alan Green announced that that was his last appearence and thanked all and sundry...whilst I have never been his greatest fan, I do hope that he is retiring to enjoy a well earned rest as I believe we has been unwell recently. So I hope it's not illness forcing this.
http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...AUDIO__Mackay_hopes_Watford_secure_promotion/ So Malky wants us to win promotion along with Cardiff. Nice of him to say so - I just hope he remembers that on the final day of the season, and we need a favour....
Well there is quite a Watford connection at Cardiff so we will have to hope they all have fond enough memories to do the business
It was interesting watching Malky on Saturday - he certainly got agitated with the 4th official and squared up to a Watford coach, whilst GFZ just ignored it all! I don't recall him being as animated when he was our manager? But everyone took it in good humour. When The Rookery started singing "Sit Down, Shut Up" to him, he starting walking back to the bench which got a cheer, but then he stopped and took a few steps forward again, which got a boo, so he stepped back again and got a cheer...was all done in a good way.
As we're playing Leeds, hopefully with them having nothing left to play for, Neal Redfearn will remember that he used to play for us..
The way they are playing at the moment, they could certainly have something to play for - Championship survival. They may be 5 points above the drop zone, but have only picked up 3 out of the last 21 on offer - zero out of the last 12.
Morning all from an overcast West West London...thanks in advance for the frothy AK. I wonder what today will bring us?

Morning all, grey and windy here but mild. Forecast says that there could be storms about. Last French lesson this morning. Lady who takes it has been on a back to work program for 18 months but her contract runs out this week and there is no funding to renew it. Shame for her if not for me.
Found a really good blog which shows how in the future Watford could develop and the way in which the Pozzos conduct their business. http://blogs.thescore.com/counterat...model-for-serie-a-in-stadio-fruli-revolution/
Who ate all the antipasto? Reading that link within the story to Cagliari's problem stadium has set me wondering if Bassini's alter ego is Massimo Cellino? We do appear fortunate to have escaped from his type.......
afternoon all, back from my trip and exhausted...i'm sure it was supposed to be relaxing! lol...still, managed to have a great time, despite the connection for Sky dropping every 15 minutes, and usually just as Cardiff were about to take a free kick or a corner! Stockholm is lovely, for those who haven't been..i can highly recommend it! Thanks for the caramel latte Ak Happy belated birthday Yorkie!
Some burning questions for tonight's football offerings: Will Joe Garner be allowed off the bench to tussle with Big Chris? Or, indeed, vice-versa? Will Barnsley manage to spoil Cardiff's promotion party? Will Lincoln City slump to an unexpected defeat at you-know-where? Will Dumbarton further cement their unlikely great escape from relegation to Scots Div2? Couldn't give a toss about the Champions League.
