Already Faye has more points from this game than anyone else has had from one game this season, he's on 128 (everyone's put him first apart from ISTPL!) The only other time anyone's got more than 100 points is Boyd against Birmingham at home. I'll do the full count tomorrow dinner time.
He was better on Saturday than he has been for the past few games, but he definitely wasn't in the top three players.
Agree with that. He made a couple of tackles early on and even showed us a glimpse of his former self in the first half with that Bostock-like turn and shot.
Faye - enough said really, awesome. Chester - amongst other things vital and brilliant clearing header in the 2nd half. Stockdale - probably his best game for us, looked solid and great reflex save from the back heel.
Final result: Faye (surprise, surprise!) Chester Quinn Current table (only players with points): Quinn 33 Chester 27 Aluko, McShane 23 Brady, Faye 21 ELmohammady 20 Simpson, Boyd 14 Evans 11 Gedo 10 Proschwitz, Hobbs 7 Dudgeon, Meyler 6 Bruce 5.5 Koren, Jaukpovic, Stockdale 5 Amos 4 McLean, McKenna 3 Stewart 2 Olofinjana 1 Cariney 0.5
not in the top three but he was half decent. Couldn't believe Peter Swan calling him the HDM. I think Koren is trying and putting more effort in than he ever has done. He's just not good at tackling. To say he isn't 'worth his shirt' is nonsense. I thought Gedo wasn't trying and was a little embarrassing on Saturday.
