Every time our players do a bad foul we seem to get a yellow or red.

Don't get me wrong Zamora got a red today and you can't really argue against it, even if some refs would have given a yellow. Same type of foul Nani did and we all know what Ferguson thought of that.

But look at last week Berbatov pushes clint hill in the chest, that has to be at least a yellow and he got nothing. Had that been us it would have probably been a red!

Gardiner got a yellow in the Sunderland match, for a horrible tackle.
Zamoras was such an odd thing to do....I've seen it happen when a player has kicked someone "accidentally" like that, not knowing he was there in the rush of the moment.
But Zamora's was a non threatening throw in, and he could see the player too...it was just odd!

The trouble with Zamora's challenge is that it was so late it was into next season.

Other teams play act, the Wigan player was hardly touched. He wasn't even bleeding. There's no red card if he pops right up.

He did the same for a yellow later on.

We've lost at least ten points to cheats while not gained a single point from it ourselves.

The Sunderland tackle was far worse and got a yellow.

Remy on Gomez today was a yellow, but I thought it was worse than the Sidwell tackle on Monday which got a red. No consistency from the refs basically.

Bobby's was definitely a red, but so unZamora like, and Gomez definitely made a meal of it, but most teams seem to these days - Mbia been an example in QPR's case.

I agree. Sidwell wasn't a sending off, neither was Haangeland's v Sunderland earlier in the season. Although Zamora's was by the letter of the law a red, it just proves that the law really is an ass. These stupid rules ruin games for spectators who fork out so much money to see an entertaining match, and often have so much at stake. Take Nani v Real and Derry v Man U as other examples. And if that's not enough throw in a three match ban and sometimes a penalty too. It's bollocks and so wrong.

In today's game v Wigan, Zamora's leg went up a bit high. Gomez went down screaming like a sack of ****. And once fatty Dowd showed Zamora the red Gomez was back up and running around like billy-o. No apparent injury there then.

And then we have Maloney.... The ball gets squared across the 18 yd box, Maloney is closest to getting on the end of it. M'Bia is running towards him to put pressure on. Maloney looks over his shoulder to see where M'Bia is and stops!!!!! M'Bia can do nothing but rear end shunt him whilst running towards the ball. Dowd was blowing up before Maloney hit the deck and thus condoning the cheat.

If this is now acceptable in the modern game then I give up. The game has gone to hell.

Agreed, and the Hangeland, Nani and Derry examples are all very valid ones as well.

Nothing more annoying as you say to see a player jump up as soon as the punishment is dished out, having been acting like he's seriously injured 2 seconds earlier.

What irks me with the Zamora red card is that Gomez went down like a sack of **** but the game continued. The ref did nothing even after looking at Gomez rolling around on the floor, he did not stop the game and only allowed the phiz onto the pitch once WE had knocked the ball out of play.

The excuse for a linesman didn't flag. He wasn't near enough the incident and made absolutely no indication to the ref until after Gomez was finished with his "treatment" (no blood, no bruise) but indicated that it should be a sending off when the ref went over to him.

The ref and the linesman saw **** all between them. The only reason Zamora was sent off was because the 4th official had time to either watch or be advised that it was a high kick and through their mics made contact with the other officials.

I think it is high time that the mics for the officials are recorded. It would prove instances like Zamoras and would have stopped the nonsense that went on with Chelsea accusing Battenburke of racist language. It might also stop the likes of Manure and Chelskum crowding the officials and giving them dogs abuse all the time. Remember the trial they did with an Arsenal match where Adams called the ref a cheat? Player behaviour and official's performances would improve overnight.

****ing Wigan. What a lucky bastard of a team were they? Their fans went mental when they scored. All twelve of them. I don't think we deserve to stay up but I hope that poor excuse for a football club get the drop. I've had enough of their plucky underdog act and it is high time they fell away into obscurity.

We dont like it and he only does it in the centre circle so hes never gained a point by it yet we constantly have cheats take points away from us, the red card and the last minute FK where Malony stopped in front of Mbia and went does quicker than a whores knickers.

From now on we are to take any Fosbury Flop Mbia wishes to do IMO if we get an advantage ... We know there is little consistency between matches and fouls ... and long may that continue it's football and I always want to see a human ref as much as we hate them ... Sidwell in today game ... red for me, as was Remy's ... Zamora was a easy decision I called it to my boys correctly that he was off the spilt second it happened and Found it difficult to boo teh Wigan boy ... what did he do apart get kicked on the head ... I would love to have a rifle trained on the X section of the Ellerslie road as there a couple that need to go i'm afraid ... I have clocked one moosh who if we ever meet would be very interesting if he wasn't chilled out ... one bloke lost it yesterday and was offering Fred Dibnah and his mate outside for lunch ... lovely moment ... I would seriously execute a few of our own fans for the sake of the club

Bang on re the time delay ... but it was directly in my line and it would of hurt no doubt for Gomez its was the right decision and we have to praise them for that ... why not its was 100% correct in the end.

You're joking right? Zamora, a bit high? He f..ing nearly took his head off!! That was far,far worse than the De Jong kung fu kick on Xabi.

Nani's foot was high as well and struck the player - Derry got cheated by a Cheating Count.

As for Maloney, what's he supposed to do when he sees Mbia the Clown charging at him? Especially as that clown had just given away a free kick in exactly the same place 2 mins earlier!!!!
Mbia has no f..ing clue how to be a proffesional footballer and is just an fiing disgrace with his antics.
Sick to death of this bad luck/conspiracy theories - Zamora behave like a count that didn't give a s---- and Mbia behaves like a count ..... albeit giving a s... but same sodding result.

Mbia was our best player at Fulham I thought.
Seems a lot of people on here who have decided they do not like him. Sure he is a clown sometimes but if all the other signings had shown his desire this season we wouldn't be where we are now.

Desire is a very great part of maximising your talent.
Cleverness and shrewdness will also go a very long way to maximising your talent.
Having skill in the 1st place will provide you a base to maybe add the other 2 to your toolbox.

Mbia shows he has a great desire in effort and alround levels of fitness.
Seriously lacking in cleverness and shrewdness and I personally doubt he has been blessed with an inordinate amount of skill.

shouldn't you have started that post with 'Grasshopper' as it had the air of a Mandarin about it.
I still stand by my view that Mbia was our best player V Fulham.

I thought I saw blood on the side of his head and on the physio's cloth - perhaps it was the stuff they use in films!

It was supposedly serious foul play but it never was.

Its a bit like the Cisse red card for tickling the wolves players chin. Refs cant use their judgement so have to send players off no matter how little contact there is.

There were several worse fouls last w/e, the sunderland player only got a yellow for a leg breaking challenge and Holt wasnt even booked for his foul.
