Not counting my chickens yet. If your an Arsenal fan you can feel confident but Chelsea and Spurs fans should be nervous. I'm just praying Suarez gets booked at Reading so he'll be suspended for us. Hopefully he removes his shirt after scoring or something. Other than away to you lot, I don't think we'll lose any of our remaining games.

DL--as they say its not over til the fat lady sings! We are battle weary and still have commitments in 3 competitions, but in a strange way I think we'll have something to shout about in a month's time! Lets hope so anyway <ok>

  4. You are quite the comedian!

In all seriousness, I never had any expectation that we would make Top 4t this season, for the very simple reason that I had no belief that AVB was competent to manage our club at the kind of level that us fans wanted. It's only over the past three months or so that I have finally begun to believe that, in fact, AVB does have the qualities to bring back the Glory Days to the Lane, and it is for that reason, and that reason alone, that I will be massively disappointed if we don't make Top 4. Any fool and his dog can see that we are clearly one of the best 4 teams in the Division, when we are at full strength.

And, no, I won't blame AVB for our indifferent form. It's not his fault that we are currently without Kaboul, Sandro, Lennon, Bale, and Defoe. Each of those 5 players would go straight into our strongest XI. Take away 5 of the starting XI players from any side, and there is absolutely no entitlement to or expectation of a Top 4 spot. We have been extremely unfortunate.

Ah, well. There's always next season...

tbf I reckon if Spurs kept one of VDV/Modric then they'd be sailing in front of us. Only reason Arsenal are anywhere near both of us is because of their atrocious cup runs. Although in fairness they have been very good since Bayern beat them.
