not a fan of banks me you see. looking to buy a house shortly, first time buyer. Hopefully live there for a few years while i do it up a bit and sell it on / rent it out. Bank will only lend me 60,000.00 what a joke. I have no credit commitments or anything. Tight mo' fo's How does one get around this?

Don't know where Australia came into this - or the Aussie dollar exchange rate. On a more serious note - there are houses in the Hull area for under £ 60 K. Anyway - if he was only offered 60k his salary must be really low - he doesn't seem to have a chance.

i am a hull fan and live in hull. I'm a trainee solicitor (really poorly paid job) considering how hard it is to get on to etc... really wouldn't recommend it!! but yeh not from Aus

I can confirm that the poster in question, has started some remarkably pish poor threads. Can't remember what they were, but, I do that they weren't a patch on my informative and hilarious posts.
