Very tight...depends on their run out. Sunderland may yet get the odd points they need....difficult for them to get anything off Chelsea. Not many teams could take 4 points off them
I know I may get laughed at but I still feel Saints are in the mix, awful lot more confident now obviously but only a couple of bad results could put us back in trouble. Having said that, I think even in that situation our GD should save us. Wigan, Stoke or Villa to go down, my money is on Wigan (you can't get lucky forever).
Not at all. Not laughing, but you've seen the level of performance in the last few weeks. There has been a definite step up. This means that Saints have been in a false position since that level of performance has come about. What Saints have to do is completely lose that level of performance they've been achieving, in order to dive back into the mix. Do you really see that happening..? I don't. Of course, nothing is out of the question, but what is more likely..? Is it the traditional Saints that let you down every time you started to believe in them [pre-2009], or the Saints who have actually got their **** together, in the last 3 or so years and performed like a club with real ambition..? Letting it all fall away isn't in the script anymore.
Just as well for Swansea that they had a good start this season, or they would have been in the poo on recent form.
I'd be amazed. He so desperately wants to have Harry Houdini written into stone. He might walk the day it becomes mathmatically impossible (and that wouldn't surprise me at all, can't see him being arsed with Championship football again), but not before.
The trouble with QPR's fixtures is that they've got 3 teams going for Europe and 3 teams who are in a relegation scrap (Newcastle may pull away, though). Surely they'd rather play mid table teams on their holidays already, like West Brom, Swansea and Fulham?
Reading and QPHarHar are gone and I still have a sneaky feeling for Norwich, depends if they can win a home game...Villa will be ok.
Yes, I think it's between Sunderland and Stoke for the third spot, but I still have a sneaky feeling QPR might just escape, which might put Wigan back into it.
Pretty annoying that 2 of the relegation spots are all but confirmed, as the majority of teams I dislike seem to be doing poorly this season. Could've been the perfect season if Newcastle, Stoke and Norwich went down.
Sorry Chilco, but QPR, along with Reading, are goners. I have a feeling it will be Stoke who join them in the Championship and we get to do the relegating, rather than be relegated.
Also think its one team from Wigan, Villa, Norwich, Stoke and Sunderland. Got a sneaky suspicion for Norwich but not sure why.
That would be a turnup for the books However, it might be better to finish the season on a good win at SMS, rather than playing a team fighting for their lives.
Redknapp when asked how he is going to lift his players after the Wigan draw replies with something along the lines of "I need lifting after that, let alone them". Superb. Part of a manager's job to stay strong and guide their players. Abysmal excuse for a manager.
