with 4-4-2 we have the advantage that both Rosenior & Fahti can play both sides The question for me is can Faye keep fit for the 5 remaining games (maybe 8)? He's key..
are you forgetting Simpson missed an open goal ? Thought he was as bad as Gedo. Koren was decent, had our best effort in the first half. I would play Koren and Boyd upfront on Saturday !
Time will tell if they are right. Some times they are and other times get it very wrong, so I do not always post what they let slip. They are not medical team but just as close.
Can see it being: -------------Stockdale---------- Rosenior--Chester--Faye--Brady Elmo-----Meyler---Evans--Quinn --------Simpson--Boyd--------- Or -------------Stockdale---------- Rosenior--Chester--Faye--Brady Elmo-----Meyler---Quinn--Boyd --------Simpson--Koren---------
I've sorted it lads, no need to thank me. -----------Stockdale----------- Fahti----Chester------Faye-----Rosey Elmo-----Meyler------Quinniesta---Brady Simpson/Gedo----Boyd Done
However, I'd like to keep the 3-5-2 formation. Stockdale Chester Faye Fathi Elmo Meyler Evans Quinn Brady Boyd Gedo
An egyptian right flank is the way to go... make them gel. I'd rather see Fathi in rcm but rb could work. No chance of this? 433 stockdale rosy-chester-faye-brady fathi-meyler-quinn elmo-gedo-boyd
I wonder if Gedo has shot his load for us so to speak, the trouble is we have no options up front. I don't agree with the criticism of Koren but he is not a forward. You need an edge to beat teams and he is one of the few we have now that Gedo has run out of spunk and we are strikerless again. Bruce is going to have to be brave and swap a few players around as where we will fall down without a doubt is if he keeps picking the same team when we have three games in a week. It's a shame Proschwitz hasn't proven himself because a player like him coming in could be key but he is still more or less unproven.
I'd go for one up front now but I can't see it happening as we don't have the right forward, shore up the midfield and hope to grind enough points and avoid losing to see us avoid play-offs
I've already put forward a similar 442 to others in another thread, but as a bit of a wildcard... Stockdale Rosie Chester Faye Brady Elmo Evans Meyler Quinn ---------Boyd----------- --------Prosch---------- Evans showed on Saturday that he does a good job at retaining possession, then just get it to those dangerous wings (both sides can overlap well), and bang it on Prosch's head. He has scored a couple against Ipswich before Can't fail really...
