How frustrating... West Ham defended very well but we weren't at the races today (See what I did there? ) and didn't create too many clear-cut chances.
When Suarez has an off game, we have an off game.. Pretty much how it goes but at least we didn't lose I guess..
Never thought I'd say this but I'm not fussed if we lose to Everton, really hope they get CL this year. They spend **** all year after year (unlike us) and they are so close to the unbelievable. We deserve our usual pathetic 7th place finish, its the norm now
Agger and Skrtel have racked up a few goals from corners, one of them is no longer first team. This is why we need a target man in the box.
Lucas, Suarez, Johnson (again), Sturridge, Downing all hugely underperformed. Very impressed with Agger along with the energy of Gerrard and Henderson in midfield but it wasn't to be. Annoyed with Sam Allardyce's anti-football but you've got to give him credit for gaining a point at Anfield. Big shout out to Collins, Tomkins and O'Brien too, sensational defending. Not to mention Diamé, I'd **** myself if I had him running full pelt at me.
Feel free to go back and gather the stats, I'll take it back if we've averaged more than six a season over the last five years
Diame and Collins were superb today, not really any stand out performers for us but Agger and Carragher looked very solid at the back. Johnson really needs a rest, bring Wisdom in, the lad hasn't done nout wrong. Good to see Coutinho playing his first full 90 minutes too.
Yes. Not worth getting yourself pissed off, there was no joy to be had from todays game. ****ing pathetic. The team was so ****ing slow too, telegraphing every ****ing ball. Wham defence have been given too much praise, it's easy to defend when you have 11 behind the ball, a bit of discipline and a ****ing slow opposition lolling towards you with the occasional pot shot
I agree with this although I not convinced Henderson had a good day either. I'd give MOTM to Collins, he had Suarez in his pocket.
Well we scored a goal, it wrongly offside. That's the main problem, people say we had countless chances and didn't score, we did, a scrappy one as well which people scream for when playing ****, and it was wrongly not given.
It was good to see him constantly on the ball and trying things, massive change to last season where he shy'd away a bit. Maybe a few of his things didn't come off but I was happy to see him bounding around the field with a bit of confidence.
West Ham boss Sam Allardyce: "I am content, even though we should have won the game. We nullified Liverpool's strengths and created the better chances to score. I'm delighted. It's only the cost of our finishing that has cost us the three points. "Jose Enrique kicked James Tomkins when we should have had a penalty but I am satisfied with the performance and result. We know we've created better chances than Liverpool, even though they had more possession." Wow, ****ing deluded sod. I remember why I hate him so much now
Hilarious that he believes that was a penalty, twat was going down before contact was made. I would like to get his thoughts on the more obvious penalty at the other end.
