    Can see why Sturrock opted to step aside. Thats not PBs team yet.

    Even then, I fail to see why it would be funny.

    Are you joking?! Phil Brown is that ****** who saved us from relegation in the championship, then had the audacity to get us promoted the next season to the top division in the world at the time. The cherry on the top though was the twat keeping us in the Premier League the year after, and very nearly a second time the year after that (he was of course a complete tit and chose to be fired and replaced by a far more capable football consultant before he could finish the job). Nothing but bad news for Hull City and Phil Brown, wish him all the worst luck in the world and will continue to laugh at any misgivings he may have.

    (this may make more sense if you have a sarcasm filter)

    I wonder when Refs will actually be held responsible for their decision making? I honestly can't think of any other job where you can perform so badly and still work every weekend.

    Well apart from Politicians of course.

    Ohh your being sarcastic ?? ;)

    personally Phil Brown did every thing that any City fan could have ever dreamed of in the time he was here.

    How many people predicted his achievements and I wonder what the odds would have been when he took over.

    <cheers>

    Mildly tickled by this from the BBC reporter there...

    "Southend favourite Freddy Eastwood has come on - if anyone us going to rescue this for them it will be him. The sun has gone in too, which will disappoint Phil Brown."

    You all laugh, but that's racism and shouldn't be tolerated at the BBC.

    Fair one, I'll give you that.

    Semi agree but Nige will be gone in the next week or two I suspect, especially if they lose their next game, so technically he won't be working there still.

    For non-accountability the stupid "girl" who is Kent Youth Police Commissioner - just cry a bit and hope people feel sorry for you, even though Kent council tax payers are funding her £14 or 16 grand salary.

    he used the momentum from warren joyce and stood on the shoulders of peter tayler...
    his short comings were revealed in the second season in the PL

    But don't let the truth get in the way of your rose tinted specs.
