One of my main reasons for coming to the match today was that I had never been to this area. I must say Norwich is a cracking City. A balance of old and new with a waterside location - good pubs and restaurants and a classic Cathedral thrown in. The football wasn't brilliant but both sides were at fault for that! Wish I was staying longer - but will definitely be back next year
Even from a suffolk lad, i can appriciate that norwich is good city, but also the coast and countryside is wonderful aswell
Maybe next time Guru -I'd like to have a look around but with a 7 hour drive each way a weekend isn't long enough. May nip over to Great Yarmouth tomorrow morning though ....
I spent many a summer with my cousins who lived in wroxham when i was young, your football team aside i have a lot of respect for the beauty of your county.
Cromer (or - reluctantly, Sheringham) are as close as Yarmouth and far more worthwhile for a visit. Cliff top walks, pubs, cafes, pubs, hotels, bars... Hasta manana
OK, OK. I have relatives in South Wales. I have relatives in Norwich. I used to live in Ipswich. I live in Oxfordshire. But no-one has a a bad word about the city of Norwich!
What they're not telling you is that Cromer is only marginally warmer than Alaska. Lovely place, though.
