http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...ves-for-Real-Betis-midfielder-Jose-Canas.html Old news but still ongoing , very Bodde like
We need a striker, a midfield 'enforcer' and if Ash continues to believe his own headlines, a new centre half.
He doesn't say anything about whether we should have expected to win. He just says that regarding the way both teams played then a draw was the fair result.
Totally spot on - particularly Ash - not doing a capain's job today (esp given his experience of Norwich) Lets see if ML can entice another Chico.........
You showed admirable restraint there, Bony. I'm afraid the comments from our so-called number one fan are becoming more and more ludicrous. I'm amazed that I continue to read such unadulterated crap.
PGF, I did make reference to our midfield but at least today JdG did lay on Michu's goal. I don't have a problem with either Ki or him going forward, it's just the overall lack of work rate from them, particularly in defence, that really bugs me. Just compare their energy with that of the Norwich midfielders. They are hardly world class but they give 90 minutes of hard work, urgency and effort. I'm afraid I can't say that about our guys.
Ummm, top 10 team, league cup (the clubs 1st major trophy), ability to attract top class players, enabled us to play 3-4 different styles of football and turned us into a team that can beat the top teams, included the current European champions on their own patch, isn't bad is it Dai? Do us all a favour and stop WUMMING on the board as you are beginning to make yourself look more silly than usual.
JDG was jogging around too often. As you say the work ethic of our team is poor -we are not putting any pressure on the opposition like we used to. On the plus side JDG did take a booking for a cynical tackle!
Can some one tell me, how i get to ignore somone on here. Does that mean i cant see their posts. I can not stad certain peoples negativity and just dont want to read the absolute sh1t they post. Can someone help please.
Bony is spot on. Laudrup knows as well as us that we created lots of good chances, he knows we had over 60% of the ball, he knows the ref chalked off a cracking Michu goal, he knows the ref allowed Norwich to spoil and kick us all game, he knows Holt should have been sent off..... He also knows that; a) we didn't defend well enough b) we didn't take our chances ...so rather than bitch and make excuses he takes it on the chin. It's called class and there's not much of it around.
Also talking of class, it's fine being good winners but I also like to gauge opposition fans when they don't win a game and see the reaction then. I didn't contribute yesterday because I went to the game but I have had a good read through both boards. Am I the only one disappointed by comments made yesterday ? For what it's worth I feel it was 2 points dropped. That was the poorest Nowich team I've seen in quite a while. We all know the reasons that transpired behind us only getting a draw, Michu could have had a hatrick and we should have won.
In answer to your question No you're not but is it worth getting worked up about another supporters view of the game .We could have on any other day come away with all three points but take nothing away from Norwich what they lacked in quality more than made up for in commitment ,something thats lacking with our midfield atm .
Hi chaps, hope you're all well! I decided to cover the game with some alternative commentary on my new site, but due to a combination of Norwegian marzipan, deciding to cover the game in the last minute, Sky not covering a 3pm kick-off grrrrrrrrrr, me having a high stake 50p bet on several of the horses and the constant action, it was a categorical failure My thoughts on the game are that it was another good advert for the premier league, and the draw was probably a fair result in the end. Davies had a stinker, sexy Michu must have been defeated by some sexy force-field on the Norwich goal, and Routledge and Dyer were pretty ineffectual for once. Swansea dominated more of the match and looked slightly more threatening overall, and obviously had a few more chances, but Norwich had their own little spells and missed some very easy opportunities themselves.
